My computer has been acting up lately so I decided to defrag it and clean some of the files which I think are not useful. I downloaded CCleaner which was OK but did didn't do anything extraordinary in my PC.
I was desperate and decided to buy a new computer memory to add up to the one that I already have. But people say that you need to know the "code" that is inscribed in the computer memory before buying a new one. They say that it's important to make sure that the new memory that I will purchase will be compatible to the current one so that things will run smoothly.
I surfed the net to search for how-to's of purchasing an additional computer memory. I happen to read an article about Virtual Memory and read it. I followed the instuctions but I got lost in the middle since I realized that the instructions is particularly for people using Windows 98. I use Windows XP so I thought that I might need to follow a different proces.
Somehow the process is "almost" just the same and followed almost exactly as what was written on the article. I was surprised at the performance of my computer! I no longer experience any screen freezing episodes, uncomprehensible error messages and all that. As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I am not a computer savvy so this Virtual Memory thing is just amazing.

huwaw. bago na pala site mo. i just noticed only today. sorry about that.
Yep check first if the memory slot uses a DDR or SDR. If that's a personal computer then you need to get the RAM inside and check for these labels.
