Scarf Mania

Just a week ago, I felt like scarf is becoming so trendy that everybody in the mall, boys and girls, have scarf around their necks when, ironically, its too hot in the Philippines to even use it!

Nevertheless, I continued my quest and found the F&H store and looked around. Well, I am surprised that they, too, are selling scarves! Since I thought that they are trendy, they will surely be costly, but I was enticed with the price (PhP 199.00!) and in heartbeat, I shell out two hundreds and storm out of the store!

Look at me now. =D

Reflection

I just woke up this morning and the idea of where life is leading me came into my mind. I dunno, I just felt that I'm just getting tired of all the things that's happening to me or I am just plain stressed out with my job or something. =( Sorry for venting out.

I know that its bad to be unthankful, thinking that I have a stable job and income, healthy physique, supportive friends and a few pesos in my pocket to buy myself a movie ticket, a can of cola and a popcorn.

Well, sorry I dunno. Is this depression or just some nasty symptoms of aging? hmm...

New Beginning

Just when you thought that everything is about to end and there is nothing left for you to enjoy, unexpected things unfold and you get to see that new opportunities will come along and all the pain starts losing its intensity.

Perhaps everybody can relate to this. No matter how sad you are right now, and no matter how painful it feels, it WILL surely go away... =) Enjoy life... Your life starts Now...

Flowers by Dylan

Flowers taken by Dylan, the future professional photographer. :) I like flowers, so when he went to a cemetery near our city, he took a couple of pictures of cemetery sceneries including these flowers. Flowers reminds me that life is so short and that we need to take care of our loved ones and enjoy life while it last. =)

Clark's Beauty

Just another good day around Clarkfield, Pampanga. This view is just at the back of our office here and I was invited by some friends to join them while walking around and buy an ice cream in cone at Ministop. :) I wanted to share just some of the pictures we took while we are roaming around the park and nearby offices. Enjoy nature while it last. =)

Waiting in Vain

This is always a usual scenery whenever I get to reach the side of the road at home. I will wait and wait and wait until a Public Utility Vehicle passes by and pick me up LOL. But just as we try waiting for something that we know won't come, will you somehow choose to wait indefinitely?

Hope

I almost forgot to post this picture about a father and a daughter where the wife was at the ICU (together with my mother at that time) who were hoping for her miraculous recovery. At one last month, May, the doctor ordered a discharge to let the wife recover at home instead since the doctor was like thinking about the family's finances as well as they are running out of money, too. Apparently, the wife was not well yet and I learned that it was her fourth incidence of stroke.

I really feel for them for we were, at the time, in the same situation. May the Good Lord bless them.

Sleepless "Days"

I came in to work without enough sleep today (mind you, i'm working graveyard). Perhaps, I can attribute it to the non-stop commotion that happened inside the house just because of that lost mobile SIM. Apparently, my mom found it and the bickering stopped in seconds. Hayyyy! I feel like going rambo but I kept my cool and just pretended that I am way down asleep.

Well, my family...they are all i've got. =D

Ayala Mall Soon to Rise....

I took these pictures sometime last month while I was waiting for the jeepney taking Magalang-Angeles route to leave its terminal around NLEX Angeles Gate Exit. Ayala Land is building Ayala Mall near our community and this is keeping the local folks excited and worried at the same time: excited because there will be another places where the family can hang-out to and worried for the Ayala Land might eye on purchasing nearby lands.

Well, just to give you some idea how it looks like, I posted some of the pictures I have taken from the site. It might not be that visible though but at least you got a sneak peak of the construction site LOL! :) What a consolation hehehe. (see the mountain on the background, that's Mt. Arayat. Kind of a beautiful scenery. )

Carmellite Monastery

I'd like to put in some pictures here which I took when I was, at one time, visiting Carmellite Monastery. This is where I usually go to every Friday for I made it a weekly commitment. Reason being is that when my mom was admitted at the ICU and was fighting for her life I visited the church a few days after and signed a "contract" that I will pay a visit to the monastery's church every Friday and offer something just to get my mom back just for a day. Surprisingly, He did and even allowed our family to be with our mom until now. I am so grateful to God and will surely not forget everything that He did to us. Praise God for he is compassionate.

I am not really religious but as what I have already written in my previous entries here, this tragic incident has renewed my commitment to my faith and, at the same time, allowed me to rediscover my Catholic faith.

The monastery has lots of flowering plants and trees and just recently installed a new infrastructure where people can light candles while saying a prayer.

Fruits, Health, Paranoia, Faith, etc...

A lot have been told about fruits and vegetables and people claim that they promote health and overall well-being. So after my mom got out of the hospital ( actually before she even got out of the hospital) I considered it a routine to prepare a cocktail of blended fruits for her every morning.

Since I know a little about biology and drug pharmokinetics, I am aware that drugs, if taken as maintenance medicines, cause bad side effects to other parts or organs of the body. And I am afraid that it might happen, for my mom is taking in "huge" tables of antibiotics for the treatment of her Pulmonary Tuberculosis. They really are huge and my its always a struggle for my mom swallowing them! =)

My mom maybe out of danger but I am still paranoid about the side effects that the drugs may do to her. I just can't get that paranoia out of my head so I decided to go to the monastery I regularly visit to meditate and pray. This tragedy has just allowed me to know Him more and confirmed my Christian faith. Perhaps, we cannot agree more that we learn lessons the hard way.

Its June!

Well, its June and we are almost halfway the entire year! I always feel a bit of excited for I still can feel the "school rush feeling" brought about by this month especially when I was still studying.

June is always something to look forward to for schoolers for its the time of the year when you get to meet your new schoolmates and an opportunity to meet new friends, too. Oh well, I miss the fun of studying and being carefree. Now that I am already working, I just wish that I could go back to school and not worry about how much shall I trade sleeplessness over rest just to get that night differential making its way into my payslip. :) haha!

Time to go back to work now. I'd like to hate it but I guess my only choice is to love it! =(

Welcome Back, Melissa!

I had the opportunity to speak to a long lost friend, Melissa, this morning, who happened to open up a new business along Sto. Rosario road just in front of Jenra Mall in our city. She emailed me this morning and asked me to visit her in her buss place. Since I had to visit PhilHealth and Social Security System's office this morning, I then decided to pass by her place to meet her up and talk a bit.

We had the chance to talk about all the stupid things that we did back in college and all those research stuff when we were taking Ecology class. We talked a lot of things and I must say that I had a lot of fun. I think that we must nurture our relationship with our friends whenever we get the chance though for there are just few people around that are "for keeps". Thanks for the good time, Melissa! :)
