When I was young my family went through a roller coaster financial crisis. My parents didn't do well to handle the situation and ended up in a bad financial shape. The situation somehow led my other two siblings to follow the same footstep as my parents.
My older brother succumb to not-so-good companions and ended up dropping in high school while my sister married at an early age of 15 (April). You may have seen her pictures here in my blog along with her baby Avril. Luckily, I was able to finish college and helped my parents bounce back. It might not be something that I expected but at least we were off to the "poor old days". God really has a way to help you out whatever situation you're into.
Now I realize just how important family is. Each family member should empower one another to create a loving and strong family which we are expected to do in the first place. With everything that had happened to me for the past 15 years, I now have the answers to all the "Whys" I was asking Him before...

yes. sometimes we encounter conflicts within the family but still our foundation and our roots are also the most important.
nice realization.
It great to have that value of family. Its great to hear you helped your family out, too.
Thanks for the note..I was afraid I couldn't get back on line..because something happened later last night. Then a series of things started updating. Freaked me out...anyway, doubt I go to chrome either.
Thats so nice about what you did for your family.
When I read this I thought of a friend of mine who has 3 kids. She's a single Mom..and she'd be back to work except for the little one who's nine. The older ones could stay at home alone a few hours since they are middle school age, but he's just a wild boy. I keep trying to tell her to make sure how important it is that be be the best brother he can be to his sisters. Not sure its working, though.

Good you had somewhat managed to get the strength to finish college and help your family.
As for me, I am lucky to have been born with a poor yet greatly bonded family.
