I know this co-worker at work for quite a while but we never had the chance to really talk or even greet each other. He works at a different department just adjacent our building. From what I know, I believe that he's a nice guy.Just over the weekend, I learned that this guy met an accident. He was run past by an unidentified vehicle and got his body and head heavily severed. People who saw the incident took him to the hospital. He died the day after. The person responsible for his death ran away. I just hope that he is courageous enough to face the music.
I was at the interment a few hours ago and I can just feel how painful it is to see someone die just because of other else's mistake. Goodbye, Nilo...May you rest in peace...

a gentle reminder for us to live our lives to the fullest because we can never know when we'll be called back...
at first I didn't mind who they were talking about because I didn't know how does the guy look liked. They were talking about it last Sunday morning and then the details when on and on. Until before I got out from work, I asked one of our colleague to describe him but still I cannot visualize who he is until one colleague suddenly said "he was the one who danced like Michael Jackson way back on one of our company's anniversary" then that finally hit me, I know the person because I admired him the way he danced liked Michael Jackson. he is the one dancing like Michael Jackson on the later part of the video. He met that accident just after he visited his dying sister in the hospital and after he was hit, his sister died due to kidney failure. About 3 months ago, their father died. I don't know what is the caused of their father's death. It is really a sad end. I was not able to attend Nilo's interment but my prayers are with him. May Nilo rest in peace. I wish they can catch the person who did this to him. Whoever that person is, I hope his concience hunt him.
So tragic!! Something similar happened to a friend's boyfriend a couple of weeks ago.
We should appreciate life as it might end unexpectedly
