I read from an online news today that Shiloh Pepin, the girl who was born with Sirenomelia, a birth defect characterized by fused feet died at Maine Medical Center last Friday, October 24, 2009. I blogged about her a few weeks ago and back then she appears to be healthy. But before the weekend, she was reported to having contracted colds which led to her succumbing to pneumonia. My condolences goes to the parents of Shiloh. I have no idea how I will ever deal with it should it happen to me.

I saw your blog post about her a while back. I'm so very sorry for her parent's loss. She seemed like a wonderful little girl.
