On Forgiving

My brother and I stopped talking since elementary after a great fight. I let things pass thinking that "time heals the wound". Fifteeen years has passed, we still don't talk. As time goes by, I proved myself wrong, "time never heals the wound", the pain will only stop when our heart starts forgiving...I forgive...

Just this afternoon, I gave him and the rest of his family movie tickets to watch 2012 (smiles).

good for you!

forgiving is much for ourselves than for the recipients, don't you think? :)

I didn't talk to my Mom for years and I figured out that me not forgiving her was only hurting me and my kids. Not her. You've got the right idea. I hope he comes around!

This is so touching, dear.
That's a very nice gesture and you do well forgiving.
At the end, family is the best we have.
