Falling in love is an opportunity for us to become more human, increase our self pride and highlight the things that we do best. We become effective by allowing the other person to experience our uniqueness and share our strengths and have someone patch up our weaknesses. This is a way for us to self-expand (The Self-Expansion Theory) and develop areas in our lives which we never gave so much attention to improve on before until we finally involve ourselves with someone.
With this, let me end this post with a passage in the Bible that talks about love.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
