Choosing the Right Keyword For Your Post

When we talk about blogging we always think of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The relationship between the two are highly intertwined and cannot be underestimated because when you write, it should always be SEO-friendly; this means that the keywords in your post should be evenly distributed and used in a strategic way. This is especially true both for popular and no-so-popular blog because content is always KING.

If you like people to find your blog, better use a tool that sets the standard for SEO - Google Adwords; a keyword tool that lets you generate thousands of related phrases or keywords related to the keyword you like your blog to be popular for. Benefit from this easy-to-use yet very useful tool for free!

This is how the site looks like. For the first picture, you'll see that a field is provided right below the 'Enter one Keyword or phrase per line'; that's where you type the keyword or phrase:

Then, type the keyword (1), fill out the i'm-human-yes-i'm-human verification form by typing in the letters or words on the image (2) and click the Get Keyword Ideas button (3).

After clicking the Get Keyword Ideas button, the suggested keywords appear. It's more like producing synonyms for your keyword but synonyms that are important for web developers like you. :)

I hope this helps you a bit in your quest to getting the site rank you've been looking wanting to have. But always remember that for beginners, start with creating topics that will be interesting for your targeted readers. You should do just fine without all these SEO stuff at the outset.

What Caused the Extinction of Dinosaurs?

The reason for the complete extinction of dinosaurs has long been a subject of debate in the field of Paleontology. However, just recently, an international panel composed of experts across the globe has endorsed and supported the old theory that the extinction of dinosaurs is linked to a huge heavenly bodies such as an asteroid or comet that smashed on the earth's atmosphere releasing an energy that is as strong as

"...100 trillion tonnes of TNT - over a billion times more explosive than the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki."

as evidenced on the 10km-15km space rock that was believed to have struck Yucatan, Mexico"(Chicxulub crater).

The scientists believe that the comet/asteroid struck the earth with speed that is almost 20 times as fast as (or possibly more), a speeding bullet. The impact could have created earthquakes, tsunamis which later inundated regions occupied by dinosaurs and killed dinosaur species dominating the air such as the pterosaurs, an event which lead the way for the domination of mammals on earth.

The reason why dinosaurs perished is just as important as to why most people today perish because of lack of food and education when the rest of us waste them. :( Read more from BBC.

The Search is On for the Best Pair of Eyeglasses

I was with my friend Jaypee of enjayneer.com yesterday at a local mall. He asked me to accompany him in looking for a new frame for this eye glasses. We first dropped by at the newest Marquee Mall knowing that there are more stores to choose from as compared to the other competitors.

Actually, there really are a lot of optical establishments inside so Jaypee found a lot of options. It's been so long since he told me that he really needed to upgrade his lens. However, for some reasons, I really can't tell on why he's having a hard time choosing one probably because he's not considering wearing one as an option in the first place. So, he really spends a lot of time deciding and finding the retro and more fashionable frames. :)

After hours of walking and roaming around the mall, we finally got better options with different packages and prices. In the coming weeks, he will probably get his new pair of eye glasses.

Indonesian Student Might Be Jailed for a Defaming Facebook Shout-Out

Upon reading this an article in Yahoo about an Indonesian student prosecuted over Facebook insult, I suddenly got scared. Like all other members on Facebook, I sometimes air my opinion on stuff around me through shout-out. But unlike others who unconscionably defame people, I aim my opinion on a factual basis and something that won't deliberately defame and hurt other people's feelings. Now Indonesia aims to practice censorship on banning websites and blocking access

I think that a little bit of online etiquette should be observed every time you do something online. If in doubt, always remember Confucius' Golden Rule; think about how you would feel if your reputation will be disparaged in much the same way as how other people would feel when you inflict pain towards them. Freedom of speech always has its limitation I believe.

Busy as a Bee!

I'm sorry if I haven't been posting something personal for the past few weeks. My schedule is filled up with work and my language studies in Manila. You see, I've been putting so much attention on my studies as I want to write using the Spanish language soon. The intensive class has helped me a lot as I can now talk and write a bit and understand just some of the things written on a children's magazine or children's book! Our facilitator, Maria Paz Hidalgo of UP Diliman, has inspired me to focus more and do well as she keeps us awake by bombarding us with exercises and exciting episodes of oral recitation.

I'm also quite busy working on a writing project I took a month ago and its taking so much of my work time making me less able to create articles to post on my blogs. I'm about to finish Spanish Level 2 already and will start level 3 on March 10. Gladly, I still manage to stand up with all the stress in my life! :) I'm enjoying it so far. Hope you guys had a wonderful week!

Got a New Ink Cartridge

Right after my Spanish class yesterday, I decided to drop by first at the mall to buy some groceries for mom. While I was on the escalator, I saw that one of the computer stores from the second level has special promotions on their items. So, for me not to miss that chance, I went over to the store and look for some stuff that I can buy. To my surprise, I saw their inkjet cartridges are on sale, too. So I bought a few boxes for me to have reserves at home in case I ran out of ink.

The printer has always been my companion since I always produce print out copies of my designs that I use in our small business. Most of the time, I just have the cartridges refilled for me to save. But because of the inkjets that I just bought from the sale, if my printer can talk, I am sure that it will thank me for buying it a new set of cartridges.

Care for a Cheap Printer Cartridges?

I know that all of you will agree with me that majority of printer ink and ink cartridges these days are unimaginably expensive! With more people losing their jobs and household utilities becoming increasingly high as well, ink cartridges probably will be on the last item on our list of stuff we want to buy.

But you see, there are inexpensive printer cartridges, especially HP Printer Cartridges that are sold online. I think I already mentioned this before in one of my previous blog posts. I had to admit that printer inks sold online are VERY cheap. I know that you might be concerned about the quality but I must tell you that they are as good as the super expensive original ones.
