Sleepless Night: Twilight Series Quotes

"I didn't sleep well that night, even after I was done crying. The constant whooshing of the rain and wind across the roof wouldn't fade into the background. I pulled the faded old quilt over my head, and later added the pillow, too. But I couldn't fall asleep until after midnight, when the rain finally settled into a quieter drizzle."

As I read through the pages of Twilight I somehow can relate to what Bella has experienced. I fear rain and air rushing fiercely through rooftops and tall trees. I can hardly sleep when its raining and its one of the reasons why I stay at home most of the time even when its just drizzling...

I could attribute this fear to the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in 1991 when my entire family almost died of drowning through the hot, thick lava which claimed our house and our entire community in seconds. I remembered my older brother and dad tied all of us in ropechains so that even when we die, we are still together as one family...Fortunately, some of neighbors were there to help us and we all survived that tragedy...

Twilight is an excellent book. :) I like it. Hope you guys will get the chance to read it, too.

Bella's Chevrolet: Twilight

"There, parked on the street in front of the house that never changed, was my new — well, new to me — truck. It was a faded red color, with big, rounded fenders and a bulbous cab. To my intense surprise, I loved it. I didn't know if it would run, but I could see myself in it. Plus, it was one of those solid iron affairs that never gets damaged — the kind you see at the scene of an accident, paint unscratched, surrounded by the pieces of the foreign car it had destroyed."

I just love big cars just as Bella does in Twilight. Although my personal favorite is Ford. Seriously I feel that I am starting to get overly hooked up to the novel although I only was able to read few pages of the first book yet. Now I feel how others feel when they get to read a certain novel and almost spend the whole day reading it without a pause! :)

I also plan on reading harry potter books just to check if it appeals to me. Although undoubtedly it is a good book, I still want to see how good it is myself.

I am just reading the book online.
Hopefully, I will be able to grab a copy for my personal use so I read through it even when i'm offline. It takes a lot of eye pain to finish reading a novel over the net so just imagine how I am feeling after reading non-stop for 2 hours. :D

Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone I loved: Famous Twilight Quote Series

"I'd never given much thought to how I would die...Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something."

Imagine yourself dying. Surely, that's painful. Well, its relative. But perhaps, lying in your deathbed, dying, will never be much sweeter when you are with someone you truly love. Twilight talks a lot about dying. Perhaps, death is one of the interesting topics that Stephenie Meyer enjoys. Well, I hardly know much about her but her novels suggested death and dying so much that even an elementary kid wouldn't fail to recognize.

I have started reading the first few pages of the book and I am beginning to enjoy it. I haven't given reading much time lately though due to my busy schedules but I am doing everything I can to take a little time out of my work hours to actually read this novel to be able to work on my goal on reading just a single novel this year for my own personal fulfillment. I am fond of taking notes on interesting passages or phrases to whatever article or book I read so expect more passages to come as I read through the pages of the novel. :)

When You Can Live Forever, What Do You Live For?: Twilight Quotes

This is just one of the beautiful quotes I read in the book Twilight. A question that is hard too answer. Virtually all people fear death and I am sure with that. Those who don't must have felt that same feeling at some point in their lives.

Death is feared due to a lot of reasons. Some fear death because of being unsure about what lies "ahead" and the fear of being eternally unconscious. Some just fear death because of its inherent scariness. :D While all these are valid, I must say that death is a natural thing that all of us should go into and is just rational. Imagine yourself living forever and seeing your loved ones die one by one while you enjoy the benefit of living forever. What a pain! There probably no reason left to "live for." You can go on to life without fearing anything or anyone. There will be no reason to work or to improve for you know that you will live without all of these stuffs. Death sets us apart from inanimate objects and it makes us unique, too.

Twilight is such a good book. I am excited to get my own copy. The one I read was from a book content downloaded online. I just watched the movie once again. Don't worry. It was just a treat from a friend. I'm not acting addict. Although I feel that I already am. Hah! :D

Watched Twilight!

Yes, I did when I was in Trinoma. :) I kinda like the movie. Very romantic but a bit boring. I feel like its incomplete and you feel like you'll satisfy your craving by watching a second part of it or something like that. The hype it created also affected the way I see the movie somehow so I am making it a commitment to get myself a book and read it. This will be my first time to read a novel so I am kind of scared.

A friend of mine invited me to watch the movie; yes again! His treat. Sounds exciting so I relented. Anyway, who refuses a "treat?" :) This is a good chance for me to fully appreciate the movie. The one in Trinoma is very big and imagine yourself sitting in front! I experienced a hell of vertigo which lingered up to this day. =(

Twilight is written by Stephenie Meyer. She published the book, in hardcover, in 2005 and is the first of the series of books published so far which includes New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, etc. I saw one of her interviews about the book. She talks soooooo fast I can hardly follow. =D
